Yes — a 50% deposit secures your date for bespoke and custom orders. Deposits are normally non‑refundable; cancellations made at least 14 days before collection/delivery may receive up to 50% of the deposit back at our discretion if no bespoke work or materials have already been committed.

Once you submit your order form, we’ll reply within 2–3 hours where possible with availability, any key questions and a quote or next steps. If your order can proceed, we’ll confirm the details by email and send payment information; the slot is secured only after the agreed deposit or payment is received. Please check your spam folder in case our email goes there.

Yes, you can make changes to your order after it has been fully agreed upon, but this must be done at least 10 days before your scheduled delivery date. If you need to make changes after this deadline, additional charges may apply.

Most dates fill 2–3 weeks ahead; peak weekends and tiered cakes fill earlier. Tell us your event date — we’ll confirm realistic options. Please specify any urgent needs in the order form.

We reply within 2–3 hours where possible with availability and a quote. Your invoice or deposit is due within 48 hours to secure the slot.

Yes — we can hold a date after a deposit. Final design details are due 10 days before your event.

I’m happy to work from inspiration photos, Pinterest boards and reference images. They help define the agreed style, colour palette, shape and key details. Each cake is still designed around your chosen size, servings, flavour, finish and structure, so I do not offer exact 1:1 copies of another cake artist’s work. Your finished cake will follow the agreed brief, while small adjustments in proportion, decorative placement or detail scale may be made so the design works beautifully for your order. For clarity and records, we finalise orders by email/form. We’re happy to answer quick questions in DMs, then move to email to book.

Under UK rules, bespoke/personalised goods don’t carry a no‑fault right to cancel (the 14‑day cooling‑off for distance sales doesn’t apply). Faulty or not‑as‑described items remain protected by consumer law. See gov.uk for details.
